In the second installment of stimulate-us, the art salon brings together work inspired by the many immigrants that reside in Toronto. Their histories and their stories are places of understanding and connection. As different experiences, they as well are similar in their struggles and joys. Stimulate-us II: Displacement/Replacement presents works that represent far places that are near to the heart, and the near places that are far from the heart. Tinto Coffee House generously opens its space to be transformed by works of art, performances and installations for stimulate-us II: Displacement/Replacement. The exhibition runs from November 25th to December 14th with an opening reception on December 3rd 2010 from 7-11pm.
